Specsavers in Yeovil are looking for  Optometrist. We’re looking for someone with new and refreshing ideas on Optometry that we can support through the early stages of their career. We’re fully equipped with 7 test rooms, the latest clinical technology (including OCT), and a team of 31 – which includes fully trained optical assistants, so everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best.  We have a second store in Chard, there's opportunity to split your working week between the two stores if you wish.

We are growing the team due to increased demand for our enhanced clinical services.  Our leadership team support a warm and welcoming working environement, they actively encourage you to develop your career within Specsavers. That’s why one of the first things we’ll do when you join us is to create a personal development plan that fits with your strengths and gives you a clear idea of how you’re going to achieve your ambitions. We will pay for your additional education and travel expenses to ensure you develop your clinical knowledge that will enable you to grow with us.  Our friendly and supportive Directors have a wealth of experience and our team members have been with us for years; there's plenty of knowedge to share.

What we're looking for

You'll need to be GOC registered and qualified; you'll have completed and passed your Pre-Reg Year.  Worried about a buy-out clause?  The Welcome Bonus should cover that. It's paid after your 3-month probationery period.  We're on an exciting journey and we'd love you bring enthusiasm and your drive for success.  You will be rewarded for it.
