Location: Ideally you will be based in or near to Edgeware
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
Salary is £27,000 - £32,000 depending on level of experience plus an excellent performance related bonus (average of £500 per month)
Car allowance will also be paid
Experience required: Telesales call centre background or Business Development experience from a medical / dental / pharma sales
We are looking for someone special to join the busy but lovely team. We want you to spend 2 days focussed on business development and the other 3 days a week, we will invest and train you to become and Optical Assistant within the domiciliary sector at Specsavers. You will need to be a real people person, someone who has compassion and positive behaviours partnered with the drive to succeed in a sales capacity.
Your Responsibilities
You will be making outbound calls to customers and care homes to secure new business
Contact customers to inform them about our audiology services and products
Answer questions about products or the company and discussing the customers’ needs
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and secure new business for the Optical Domiciliary Team
Manage NHS and Private patient sales and conversions
Ensure you meet and exceed set business KPI’s and SLA’s in line with company processes, and procedures
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Work collaboratively across the business to encourage positive teamwork
Once trained, you will go out across the region with an Optometrist and help support and conduct clinics and aftercare for patients in their own homes and in the care home sector.
Requirements and skills

Proven experience in outbound telesales or business development

Proven track record of successfully meeting sales and conversion targets over the phone

Good knowledge of sales techniques to overcome objections

Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

Excellent knowledge of English

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints if required

Full uk driving license
