Newly Qualified Optometrist - Walton-On-Thames

Specsavers have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join the team at Walton-on-Thames

At Specsavers Walton-on-Thames you will be joined by a great team that are really focused on you as a person and love to engage with each other both inside and out of store including arts and crafts, meals out, summer, and Christmas parties. We are extremely keen on developing you. As a result, we would really love to see Optometrists that have a passion for getting involved and supporting the wider team.

What's on offer?

- Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
- Rewarding bonus scheme 
- Free off-road parking close-by 

- Support and funding from the store to complete further education including MECS

- Development into management

- CET support 

You will be working with other Optometrists, 4 test rooms all fitted with OCT and Phoropters. There are currently between 3-4 clinics running. 

The vibrant town of Walton-on-Thames sits beside the River Thames in the Elmbridge borough of Surrey and has numerous shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. The Heart is an exciting retail and residential complex, which combines top high street fashion with delicious, alfresco dining.

What We'd Love To See

You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist. As a new or experienced Optometrist, no supervision is currently required, however, if this is something you are looking for in the future, we would be more than willing to support with progression opportunities. The right person for this position will be confident, possess a strong worth ethic and a willingness to succeed. You’ll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an Optometrist who will go the extra mile for both our customers and the team.
