Optometrist Partnership Opportunity - Taree & Forster, NSW

Specsavers has a unique opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to own and work across two stores in Taree and Forster, New South Wales. Both stores are located in prime retail positions and benefit from a loyal and growing customer base. Our dedicated teams are highly regarded within the community for delivering exceptional patient care.

Taree is a thriving regional centre set along the banks of the Manning River on the mid north coast of New South Wales. Known for its strong community feel and beautiful river and countryside surrounds, Taree offers a relaxed lifestyle with the convenience of essential services, shopping, and dining. With nearby national parks, waterways, and farmland, it’s a town that balances natural beauty with everyday ease.

Less than half an hour’s drive from Taree is the popular coastal town of Forster. Our Taree store opened in 2010 and is strategically located on Manning Street, the town’s main strip. The store itself is 269sqm in size with 4 optical test rooms, a dedicated Audiology room and 7 dispense desks. 

Due to business growth, a second store, Specsavers Forster, was opened in 2019 within the Stockland Forster Shopping Centre, which is home to over 65 specialty retailers and anchored by ALDI, Coles, Woolworths, and Kmart. The store itself is 121sqm in size with 2 optical test rooms, a dedicated Audiology room and 4 dispense desks. Both stores boast and state of the art equipment including OCT, and house 1000+ frames on display.   

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced optometrist who understands what it takes to lead and motivate a team. You will have a passion for delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service. This store demographic would offer the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to experience a variety of pathology and make a positive impact in their local community.
