 As a Call Centre Assistant, you don’t need to have previous optics experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.    

Our Store

The Specsavers store in Stroud is a busy, customer-focused practice dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care and hearing services to the local community. Situated in a convenient town-centre location, the store combines a welcoming retail environment with modern clinical facilities. The store benefits from excellent public transport links, with nearby bus stops providing regular services to surrounding towns and Stroud railway station within easy walking distance, offering direct connections to Gloucester, Cheltenham and London.

The team at the Stroud Specsavers store is friendly, supportive and highly collaborative, creating a positive and inclusive working environment for both colleagues and customers. Made up of experienced optical professionals and retail specialists, the team works closely together to deliver outstanding service at every stage of the customer journey. There is a strong focus on continuous development, with colleagues encouraged to build their skills through training and shared expertise. With a real emphasis on teamwork, communication and mutual support, the Stroud team takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone contributes to success and feels valued for their role within the store.

What we’re looking for?

  • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone manner
  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs and issues 
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good time management
