As a Store Host in Specsavers, you don’t need to have previous optics experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding service and environment for both our customers and team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.  

We are looking for people with great customer service skills, excellent time keeping, a professional and friendly approach and confidence in communicating at all levels. 

Some of the key tasks are as follows -

  • Welcome, meet and greet customers as they arrive in to store and check them in for their appointments across all categories and direct them to the relevant representative or area appropriately.
  • Manage customers' initial experience ensuring the team deliver a first-class experience that benchmarks favourably against competitors
  • Assist in spectacles selection as required.
  • Manage the queue and identify promptly when help is required to manage the que to the Practice Manager or any other senior member of staff.
  • Ensure any communication from the optometrists through any device such as buzzers, is actioned accordingly.
