Optometrist

Due to our Optometrist successfully passing pathway and becoming a new Director, we are looking for an Optometrist to join our team here at North Shields.

Want to be the reason why people should’ve gone to Specsavers? As an Optometrist here, you’ll be the go-to for eye examinations and contact lens services, helping us keep the nation seeing 20/20.  

You’ll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you’ll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team.  

Our store 

Based in North Shields, we have 4 test rooms and a wonderful team full of dedicated people ready and waiting for you to meet. There is free parking available nearby. 

We are also opening a brand new store in a highly sought after location of Whitley Bay so there will be scope to have the option to work from this store if preferred.
