To strengthen our Northern Europe Retail Talent Acquisition team, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on program manager to drive key initiatives and shape the future of our store recruitment.
Your role
As Senior Retail Talent Acquisition Program Manager, you’ll shape and drive key recruitment initiatives for our stores across Northern Europe (Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and The Netherlands).
Working across borders and functions, you’ll equip our local recruitment teams with the tools, systems, and processes needed to attract, engage, and hire the best retail talent – including optometrists, audiologists, retailers, and store partners. You’ll play a central role in scaling our programs, owning our ATS and CRM (Avature), and ensuring a consistently high-quality candidate and partner experience.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead and deliver regional TA programs to support long-term workforce planning

Own and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) platform

Collaborate with country recruiters to ensure they have effective tools and a strong employer value proposition

Develop and maintain recruitment processes for key store roles with a focus on consistency and impact

Partner with Talent, Retail and Employer Brand teams to build strong, engaged pipelines

Deliver clear TA reporting using Power BI and continuously improve data use

Support and develop TA competence across the recruitment community in Northern Europe

Drive the success of key initiatives like our employee referral program and drip campaigns
You can expect to travel within Northern Europe approximately once a month as part of this role.
Your new team
As Senior Retail Talent Acquisition Program Manager, you’ll join our Northern Europe Retail TA team—an experienced, collaborative group based across The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Together, we focus on attracting optometrists, audiologists, store employees and future store partners to Specsavers.
You’ll work closely with local recruitment teams and a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. Right now, we’re driving key projects to strengthen our talent pipelines - and your role will be central to making that happen.
You'll work at our Regional Danish support office in Nordhavn. Our office features many collaborative spaces and a stunning rooftop terrace with breathtaking city and harbour views.

Your qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

Extended knowledge as a superuser in Avature (our ATS/CRM)

Experience with retail, within a recruitment environment
-
Previous experience with Talent Management and experience in selling and building own pipeline of candidates

Experience of working as owner of People Technology and vendor management
-
Dealing with senior level stakeholders in a matrix environment

Strong planning and project management skills
-
Ability to guide, influence, and engage others across a complex, matrixed organization
-
A natural relationship-builder who creates trust and drives collaboration across teams
-
Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English

Within 6-12 months, you:

Working towards achieving the initiatives that are in our Retail Recruitment Strategy, engaging with local teams and your stakeholders in a collaborative process.

Launch new plans and initiatives that will secure our long-term goals within recruitment.

A full understanding of our Partnership model and systems related to recruitment.

Driving the overall Retail Recruitment Strategy and have added your touch in needed areas of the plan
