Scrum Master

Date: 27 Mar 2026

Location: Nordhavn, DK, 2150

Company: Specsavers

Are you passionate about enabling high‑performing agile teams and creating an environment where people thrive?
Join Specsavers as our new Scrum Master and help us optimize the way we work across Northern Europe (NE).

Your role

As a Scrum Master in our Technology function, you play a key role in empowering our Product and Development Teams to deliver high‑quality solutions at a sustainable pace. You act as a servant leader who supports team development, encourages self‑organisation, and drives agile maturity over time.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Technology Product Managers, and cross‑functional teams to remove impediments, nurture psychological safety, and drive a culture of transparency, learning, and adaptability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating an environment where the team can work efficiently, self-driven at a sustainable pace while ensuring obstacles are surfaced and removed promptly.
  • Facilitating Scrum events and workshops using strong facilitation techniques, adapting the format to context and team needs.
  • Coaching the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders in agile thinking and practices, fostering continuous improvement and transparency.
  • Ensuring strong communication, collaboration, and alignment across teams, while nurturing a safe and positive team culture.

Your new team

When joining Specsavers Tehnology, you will become part of a leadership team alongside the Technology Product Managers. As part of your role, you will work across multiple teams and functions in NE Technology, coaching and guiding them with a huge focus on efficiently delivering value driven deliveries.

We work in a remote first environment but try to meet up approximately every 4-6 weeks in different groups for physical workshops, where we also focus on socializing and learning about each other.

Your new leader

I appreciate a fast pace and an honest, open dialogue where we place a strong emphasis on well-being without losing focus on our goals. I love having concrete plans in place and keeping a clear eye on what truly matters.

Despite geographical differences, we have a strong collaboration, partly thanks to a strong Scrum Master, but also because we share values and objectives. I love Specsavers, our purpose, and the fact that my team and I play a role in bringing “improving lives through better sight and hearing” to life”.

- Lea Holdensen, Head of Technology Product Management Northern Europe.
