MarTech Product Specialist

Date: 14 Oct 2025

Location: Nordhavn, DK, 2150

Company: Specsavers

Ready to shape the future of marketing technology at Specsavers? Join our Northern Europe team and help deliver smarter, data-driven customer experiences across five markets.

At Specsavers, we're dedicated to making eye and hearing care accessible to all. As pioneers and a global leader in innovative technologies, we help people optimise their vision and hearing. We foster your expertise, welcome you into a supportive family, and propel your growth. Grounded in our collaboration, curiosity, courage, and compassion values, we strive to challenge the status quo and invite you to team up with us.

We’re looking for a structured and curious MarTech Product Specialist to join our newly formed team. This is a unique opportunity to help define how we work with marketing technology across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands — starting with the implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and expanding into broader platform optimisation.

Your role

As MarTech Product Specialist, you’ll be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining our marketing technology stack — including platforms for campaign execution, customer data, and analytics.

Your focus will be on enabling and improving the use of marketing technology — not executing campaigns, but supporting the platforms that make them possible. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across marketing, digital, and IT to ensure our tools are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the development and optimisation of MarTech platforms

  • Translating business needs into clear technical requirements

  • Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure quality delivery

  • Maintaining documentation and supporting training and onboarding

  • Contributing to testing, validation, and continuous improvement

  • Ensuring alignment between marketing goals and technical capabilities

In this role, you’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing Technology, and occasional travel across NE offices may be expected.

Your new team

You’ll be part of the NE Technology team, collaborating closely with colleagues across digital, CRM, and campaign execution. Our team operates in a hybrid setup from offices in Nordhavn, Aalborg, Gothenburg, Oslo, Vantaa, and Maarssen — offering flexibility and a vibrant work culture.

We’re a cross-functional, forward-thinking team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Whether you’re refining a platform or supporting a campaign rollout, you’ll be surrounded by colleagues who care deeply about delivering great customer experiences.

As our new MarTech Product Specialist, you'll work at our Northern Europe support office in Denmark, Copenhagen. Our office features many collaborative spaces and a stunning rooftop terrace with breathtaking city and harbour views.

  • Join our global team of friendly, talented, and passionate colleagues. Enjoy a competitive salary package with perks such as pensions, (health insurance), free eye care vouchers, and more.

  • Grow in your role with free access to online learning, monthly one-on-one discussions with your manager, personalised development plans, and increased responsibility.

  • We offer a fun work environment with great coffee, laughter, table tennis tournaments, birthday surprises, holiday celebrations, virtual Friday quizzes, and more.

Your qualifications

You’re a technically minded marketeer with a passion for data, platforms, and enabling smarter marketing. You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate between business and technical perspectives.

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of experience, curiosity, and structure. If several of the points below resonate with you, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Experience working with MarTech/Adtech platforms and/or marketing automation tools (CDP experience is a bonus)

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills

  • Understanding of stakeholder communication and requirement gathering

  • Familiarity with agile ways of working

  • Fluent English

Your development

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Be onboarded into the NE MarTech ecosystem and introduced to key platforms and stakeholders

  • Start contributing to platform optimisation and documentation

Within 6–12 months, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of selected MarTech tools and delivery activities

  • Be a go-to person for platform support and stakeholder coordination

  • Help improve processes and knowledge sharing across NE

Further development:

  • You’ll have a personalised development plan focused on growing your product and technical competencies

  • You’ll be supported to explore career paths within Specsavers — whether toward deeper MarTech expertise or broader digital leadership

  • You’ll grow professionally in an organisation that values your initiative, collaboration, and curiosity
