Location: Nordhavn, DK, 2150

Company: Specsavers

Are you passionate about driving business growth and leading the expansion of innovative healthcare services across multiple markets? Then we might have just the job for you at Specsavers.

Join Specsavers as our new Head of Expansion and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clinical services across Northern Europe.

Your role

As our Head of Expansion, you will lead the strategic expansion of clinical and audiology services across Northern Europe, ensuring alignment between clinical capacity, operational readiness, and commercial objectives.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable service rollouts across our retail network, working closely with clinical, retail, growth, and operations teams to bring new services to market successfully.

Acting as the central link between key business functions, you will drive pilot programmes, manage change across markets, and ensure service expansions are executed efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong customer focus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the expansion of clinical services across the Northern Europe store portfolio, ensuring alignment with business growth ambitions
  • Design and implement scalable rollout plans for new clinical and audiology services, balancing customer needs, clinical capacity, operational requirements, and store capabilities
  • Act as the key connection point between clinical, retail, growth, and operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration and execution
  • Develop and lead pilot programmes, leveraging data and insights to validate approaches before wider implementation
  • Create and communicate clear go-to-market plans, including timelines, success metrics, and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner closely with retail teams to drive change management initiatives and support successful adoption across stores and markets
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with service expansions, ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor performance, track outcomes, and provide senior leadership with regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities
  • Drive consistency across markets while recognising and adapting to local requirements where necessary

Your new team

You will join the Northern Europe Growth team, a regional function dedicated to identifying and delivering growth opportunities that support our long-term business ambitions. The team brings together a diverse range of expertise across business development, store environment, and property, working collaboratively to drive sustainable expansion and create the foundations for future growth.

Working closely with clinical, retail, operations, and commercial stakeholders across five markets, you will help shape how new healthcare services are introduced and scaled throughout the region. Together, you will drive innovation, improve customer access to services, and support sustainable business growth.
