The role & team
We are looking for a Transactions Officer to join our supportive and high-performing Transactional Support team on a project based 11 month contract. The Transactional Support team is part of the wider Finance Team, providing financial services and compliance support across our Support Office and Specsavers stores.

Reporting to the Transactions Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include managing vendor reconciliations, processing expense claims, completing weekly payment runs, supporting month-end reporting, and resolving invoice queries. This is a hands-on, project-focused role that requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and clear communication skills.

The skills we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
  • Highly organised team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Proactive mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level is essential
