About the role and team

We're looking for an experienced IT Delivery & PMO Lead to join our ANZ Technology team in Port Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Change Delivery, you'll lead a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators while driving the evolution of our Technology Project Delivery and PMO practice.

This leadership role shapes and drives project delivery excellence across the ANZ technology portfolio. You'll establish delivery standards, governance frameworks and consistent ways of working, while partnering closely with business and technology leaders, the Global and Regional Change Transformation Management Office (CTMO) and IT PMO teams to enable transparent, predictable and high-quality delivery.

This role operates primarily during standard business hours, although regular meetings with global stakeholders may be required outside of local working hours.

The essential experience and skills we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience delivering complex projects and programs across applications, infrastructure, cloud, business transformation and SaaS environments.
  • Proven leadership of high-performing project teams, with at least 5 years’ people management experience coaching and developing PMs and Project Coordinators.
  • Strong PMO capability, including establishing governance frameworks, reporting standards, controls and delivery best practices.
  • Experienced in waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, tailoring approaches to project size, complexity and risk.
  • Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders, managing vendors and building trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Broad understanding of project delivery disciplines, including business analysis, architecture, testing, change management and service operations.
  • Experience with portfolio prioritisation, resource planning and investment governance, as well as collaboration with global teams, offshore partners and international vendors.
