The role & team

Are you ready to lead transformation at scale, influence enterprise-wide change and shape the future of Specsavers ANZ?

At Specsavers, we’re transforming how we deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and store teams across Australia and New Zealand. To support this evolution, we’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Portfolio & Programs to lead our ANZ Change & Transformation function.

This is a high-impact leadership role driving some of our most strategic enterprise programs across Commercial and Technology. Partnering closely with senior ANZ leaders and our Global Change & Transformation Management Office (CTMO), you’ll bring governance, clarity and momentum to a complex transformation portfolio.

Reporting to the Commercial Director ANZ, you’ll lead the PMO capability across ANZ, ensuring transformation initiatives are prioritised, governed and delivered successfully.

You’re a confident and influential transformation leader who thrives in complexity and knows how to bring people together to deliver outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise PMO/TMO or transformation functions
  • A strong track record delivering large-scale business and technology transformation programs
  • Deep understanding of Agile, hybrid delivery and governance frameworks
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and portfolio management capability
  • Experience working within large, global or matrixed organisations
  • The ability to influence, challenge and lead with “assertive diplomacy”
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Retail, healthcare or customer-centric industry experience will be highly regarded.
