About the Role
As a Clinical Performance Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting around 65 Specsavers stores across Victoria and South Australia. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Performance, you’ll work closely with Store Partners and Optometrists to improve clinical standards, boost efficiency, and deliver outstanding patient outcomes and experiences.

You’ll provide coaching, mentoring and training to ensure consistent optometry and optical procedures, while driving the successful implementation of annual clinical initiatives. This role combines hands-on support with strategic influence to help stores achieve excellence in clinical performance.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Optometrist with experience in a high-volume environment (essential)
  • Current Optometry Board of Australia registration (essential)
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service (essential)
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence (essential)
  • Experience delivering training to groups (highly preferred)
  • Retail management or training design experience (preferred)
  • Ability to manage your own schedule and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and resilience
  • The successful candidate can be based in Victoria or South Australia; interstate travel will be required.
