To strengthen our Store Operations team in Sweden, we’re looking for a Local Growth Manager to help drive store growth. In this role, you'll ensure that each store has a tailored, actionable volume plan that meets its unique needs—helping them attract more customers and maximize their potential. 

 

Your role 

 

As our Local Growth Manager, you'll report directly to the Head of Store Operations and be part of a team responsible for continuously optimizing store performance and driving sustainable business growth. 

 

The role is responsible for working across the store estate to ensure that every store has a clear, data-driven, and actionable volume plan aligned with their specific needs. 

 

You will collaborate closely with Regional and Local Marketing teams to develop and enhance the local activation toolbox, ensuring stores have effective strategies and initiatives to drive customer volume. 

 

As the main point of contact, you will provide expertise and strategic direction to Partners, supporting them in executing impactful local volume-driving activities. 

 

Your primary tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Partnering with Regional Relationship Managers (RRMs) to assess store requirements and determine the most effective volume-driving plans. 

  • Ensuring that all BTC (Business-to-Customer) stores implement upweighted volume-driving strategies to maximize footfall and sales. 

  • Developing and overseeing tailored volume-driving plans for TAPs (Targeted Action Plan Stores) and Red Stores to support their specific needs. 

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance and return on investment (ROI) of local volume-driving initiatives, providing insights to enhance future strategies. 

 

This role is based in our Swedish support office in Gothenburg and requires regular travel to stores across Sweden. 

 

Your qualifications 

 

We're seeking a proactive leader who thrives on driving change and collaborating with others to achieve meaningful results. You should be able to influence, communicate, and work effectively with both local and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and success. 

 

To excel in this role at Specsavers, you might see yourself in following: 

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a retail environment, demonstrating strong commercial acumen. 

  • The ability to analyze trends and data to identify local activation needs for stores. 

  • A basic understanding of local marketing tools and how they can be leveraged in-store to drive customer volume. 

  • Previous experience in local marketing or working closely with Partners and Store teams is advantageous. 

  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring a focus on delivering exceptional in-store experiences. 

  • The ability to build trusted relationships that support and empower Partners to drive continuous store improvement. 

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify trends and translate them into actionable plans. 

  • A full driving license and the flexibility for occasional travel to stores across Sweden. 

  • a marketing or retail-based education is useful but not mandatory.
