T level placement Business Admin
Date: 27 Nov 2025
Location: Fareham, ENG, GB, PO15 7PA
Company: Specsavers
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional colleague customer service and want to kick-start your career in People Services?
This T Level placement offers a fantastic opportunity to join our People Services team one day a week, gaining hands-on experience and training to become an advisor over time.
What does a People Services Advisor do?
Think of this role like a help desk for your colleagues, not for customers. Instead of answering questions about products, you’re helping people who work in the business with their HR and payroll questions. You’re the first person they contact when they need help, and your job is to make sure they get the right answer quickly.
Examples of questions you might get:
- “I’ve just joined the company, how do I set up my payroll details?”
- “Can you check why my holiday allowance looks wrong in the system?”
- “Where can I find the policy for maternity leave?”
- “I need help updating my address in SuccessFactors.”
- “Can you confirm if my bonus has been processed?”
You’ll be the first point of contact for our store Partners (Who own the store) , Managers, and colleagues, managing queries via phone, email, and our ServiceNow system. Your role will involve:
- Providing first-time resolutions or escalating queries to our self-service hub or Subject Matter Experts
- Maintaining knowledge of HR systems, processes, and documentation
- Managing expectations aligned with SLAs
Why is this important?
You’re making life easier for your colleagues so they can focus on their jobs. It’s all about great customer service, but your “customers” are the people who work with you. You’ll learn how to use HR systems, solve problems, and communicate clearly, all skills that are valuable in any career.

At Specsavers, we’re proud to be a global organisation with over 40,000 colleagues working together to change lives through better sight and hearing. Joining us isn’t just about one role, it’s the start of a career that can unlock countless opportunities across our business.
As part of your placement, you’ll gain exposure to wider teams to understand the bigger picture of how we support office careers and collaborate to make a real difference. You’ll see how every role plays its part in saving lives through better sight and hearing.
What We’re Looking For
At Specsavers, we’re excited to welcome students who see this placement as a chance to learn, grow, and make a real impact.
