Release Manager - UK

This is an opportunity to join Specsavers at an exciting stage in its cloud transformation. As part of our newly established Global Cloud Platforms team, you'll play a key role in ensuring technology changes are delivered safely, smoothly and with minimal disruption across a global business. Acting as the link between engineering, delivery and operational teams, you'll help bring new cloud services, applications and platform changes into production, enabling innovation while protecting service quality and business performance.

As a Release Manager, you'll coordinate releases end-to-end, managing release schedules, deployment plans and the route-to-live process across cloud platforms, applications and services. You'll work closely with engineering, QA, operations and supplier partners to ensure changes are planned, tested and communicated effectively, while overseeing release readiness activities, managing dependencies and helping teams navigate risks throughout the release lifecycle.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring experience coordinating releases within a technology or cloud environment, alongside a strong understanding of release, deployment and change management practices. You'll be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities, with the ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams. Knowledge of Agile delivery methods, SDLC processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence will be valuable, as will strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
