Outbound Logistics Manager

Are you an experienced logistics leader who knows how to keep complex operations moving seamlessly across multiple countries? We're looking for an Outbound Logistics Manager to lead outbound logistics across our UK and European Manufacturing & Distribution network, ensuring everything from spectacles and contact lenses to optical equipment and store supplies reaches its destination safely, efficiently and on time. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape logistics strategy, manage key supplier relationships and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for both business and consumer customers.

You'll bring proven experience in logistics, distribution or supply chain management, along with a strong understanding of freight forwarding, warehouse operations and carrier management. Comfortable working with data, you'll use KPIs, supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and the ability to analyse trends and make informed decisions will be key to your success.


As a people leader, you'll inspire and develop a small team, creating a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration and customer focus. You'll be confident influencing stakeholders at all levels, managing supplier relationships, leading quarterly business reviews and navigating challenges with a calm, solutions-focused approach. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities across a fast-paced international environment.
