NHS Operations Co-ordinator

We're looking for an NHS Operations Co-ordinator to join our NHS Contracting & Development team. This is a varied and highly visible role where you'll help support the contracts, systems and operational processes that enable Specsavers to deliver NHS-funded services across the UK. Working with colleagues across the business and external NHS stakeholders, you'll play an important part in helping ensure our services are set up for success and that stores have the information and support they need to deliver excellent patient care.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on organisation and takes pride in getting the detail right. As part of the NHS Operations team, you'll support the end-to-end management of NHS contracts, helping to coordinate contract documentation, governance approvals, system updates and communications. You'll work closely with NHS Service Divisional Managers, supporting divisional priorities and helping translate complex contractual requirements into practical information for colleagues across the business. A typical week could involve reviewing contract changes, supporting negotiations, updating operational systems, analysing data, preparing stakeholder communications, attending meetings with internal and external partners, responding to store queries and identifying opportunities to improve processes across the team. You'll act as a key link between stores, support office teams and NHS stakeholders, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and communicated effectively. Whether you're updating contract records, resolving operational queries or supporting the implementation of new services, your work will directly contribute to the smooth delivery of NHS-funded services across our network. You'll also play a role in supporting patient referral pathways and service activation, helping ensure locations and services are available to patients and referrers when needed.

We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, proactive and collaborative, with the confidence to build strong working relationships and manage multiple priorities. You don't need to be an expert in every aspect of NHS operations from day one. What's most important is your ability to learn quickly, think logically, communicate effectively and take ownership of your work. If you enjoy problem solving, working with a wide range of stakeholders and finding ways to make processes better, you'll thrive in this role.
