NHS Audiology Services Engagement Manager 12 month FTC
Date: 2 Apr 2026
Location: Fareham, ENG, GB, PO15 7PA
Company: Specsavers
Our NHS team plays a vital role, developing and sustaining the largest government-funded audiology and optometry opportunities in the UK, while supporting our Partners to deliver high-quality care in the heart of their communities.
In the newly developed role of NHS Audiology Services Engagement Manager, you’ll take the lead in building the strategy needed to identify and activate new NHS audiology opportunities across under-served communities. Your focus will be on expanding access to community audiology services in line with the NHS 10 Year Plan. You’ll own the process from early engagement through to commissioner confirmation, before handing over to internal teams for tendering, contract development and mobilisation.
You’ll be using local intel and data-lead insights to identify opportunities, identifying unmet need, pathway gaps, workforce pressures, access inequalities and commissioning priorities. By analysing pathways, demand patterns and system challenges, you’ll shape commissioner-ready proposals that support local objectives and improve patient access.
You’ll spend your time building trusted relationships with commissioners, clinical leads and system partners, having strategic discussions and influencing thinking with community-based service models.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in understanding of NHS landscape, service development or system engagement, a solid understanding of commissioning structures, and the confidence to navigate complexity with clarity and professionalism.
If you’re analytical, happy to work autonomously, have a curious and commercial mindset, love working collaboratively and are motivated by making a real difference to patients, this is a chance to shape the future of community audiology on a national scale.
