Date: 28 Apr 2026
Location: Fareham, ENG, GB, PO15 7PA
Company: Specsavers
Ready to develop hyper‑local marketing approaches that champion our stores, build strong community networks and boost performance across the South Division? We have an opportunity to join our team on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
As a Field Marketing Manager, you’ll act as the primary marketing partner for Store Partners within your division, supporting them to design and deliver local marketing plans that drive sales, respond to competitive pressure and uncover growth opportunities. You will play an important role in enabling growth, safeguarding performance and reinforcing our presence throughout the division.
Working closely with our Stores Strategy & Trading team you’ll help plan, deliver and execute impactful local marketing activity. You’ll recommend ideas, brief and review creative assets, approve activity and closely track store performance to assess what’s effective and where additional support is required. A strong emphasis will be placed on “hyper‑local” activity, ensuring our stores remain visible, relevant and firmly embedded in their local communities.
You’ll deliver full‑service marketing support across your division, providing insight, direction and practical solutions tailored to individual store needs. Partnering with the Regional Sales Team, external agencies and key internal stakeholders, you’ll take ownership of store‑level marketing plans from initial concept through to activation. You’ll monitor competitor behaviour, highlight potential risks and opportunities, and create tactical responses that help protect and grow store performance.
The role also includes supporting “Own Your Town” initiatives, managing queries, presenting at key meetings and working alongside Business Development on new and relocated stores. You’ll lead best‑practice launch plans, coordinate media recommendations, arrange and deliver local media activity, and manage door drops and other direct marketing activity. In addition, you’ll support the activation team with creative briefs to ensure local artwork is accurate, relevant and high quality.
We’re seeking someone with solid commercial marketing experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, ever changing environment. You take ownership of your work, remain motivated, and communicate confidently and clearly with stakeholders at all levels. You’re comfortable presenting to others and enjoy collaborating as part of a remote team. With a flexible and adaptable mindset, you’re able to juggle competing priorities while applying strong commercial insight and organisational skills to consistently deliver high standards.
This role closes on 12th May 2026. So don’t delay your application, apply now – you’ll be glad you did.
