Cloud Engineer - UK

This is an opportunity to join Specsavers at an exciting stage in its cloud transformation. As part of our newly established Global Cloud Service team, you'll help design, deliver and evolve cloud services that support a global business, balancing innovation, quality, cost and speed at scale. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and supporting the platforms that enable colleagues and teams across Specsavers to deliver outstanding experiences for our customers.

Working across a multi-cloud environment with a primary focus on Azure, you'll help automate, optimise and maintain cloud platforms and infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, delivery, QA and operations teams to support deployments, improve platform performance and reliability, and deliver scalable, reusable cloud services. You'll also contribute to cloud innovation, helping drive automation and continuous improvement across the technology landscape.

To thrive in this role, you'll have experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, alongside a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation and DevOps practices. You'll be comfortable working with tools such as Terraform and CI/CD platforms, and have a solid appreciation of security, governance and operational best practices. Just as importantly, you'll be a collaborative problem-solver who enjoys building relationships, sharing ideas and finding smarter ways of working.
