If you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores needs, it sounds like you’d be a great fit here. If you have current or previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.  

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our Store

Our store is located on Craigleith Road within Sainsburys supermarket in Edinburgh city centre, with free parking available and excellent public transport links.

Our welcoming store is a wonderful place to work, with a small friendly team of 12. They are happy to support the successful candidate through Cert 3 & 4, offering a great opportunity. We have all the equipment you need to ensure you can do your job to the best of your abilities. As well as all the support you need and great training and development opportunities, we have a whole load of benefits on offer for you to enjoy. These include:   

• Full time: 5 days per week to include regular weekend working
• Part-time hours can be considered to include weekend working
• Salary: starting from £25,350 per annum DOE
