Well, as an Audiology Practitioner at Specsavers, you can work alongside your partners and colleagues to help more customers with their hearing, faster. You can train to completion with the support of a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD), and then eventually have the chance to move on to other roles within the store or wider business. What’s on offer?
As well as all the support you need and great training and development opportunities, we have a whole load of benefits on offer for you to enjoy. These include:
- €29,500 per annum plus increments as you complete each of the 3 modules
- Working 5 days over 7, and WILL include a Saturday
- Core business hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 7pm and Saturday from 8.30am to 5.30pm but the store operates 1 late night a week to 7pm
- We will auto-enroll you into the pension scheme with an employer contribution when you contribute too
What we’re looking for?
- Good written and verbal English skills / good communication
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Keen interest in self-development
- Interested in furthering your clinical skills
Desirable skills:
- Fluency in use of patient management systems (e.g. Socrates/Auditdata/Sycle) or previous experience in an audiology or optical setting or retail

While we don’t need you to have a degree or any specific qualifications to enrol on this programme, we do need you to have a few skills to get started here. Firstly, you’ll need to have good written and verbal English skills, so we know you can communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues. You’ll also need to have a keen interest in self-development, desire to further your skills, and then ideally a fluency in use of patient management systems such (but don’t worry if you don’t have that last one).
