You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll also be bringing smiles and clinical care into the heart of your community.
The job is varied: you’ll work in a range of locations and testing environments every day – no two days are the same. Our region covers Kent, but our team is scattered across the region so we will always aim to keep you as close to home as possible, although there may be times you will have to cover anywhere within the Kent region.
We can only consider candidates who hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own car full-time, and who can confidently dispense lenses at all levels.

You will cover the Kent region when providing essential eyecare to vulnerable patients in their own homes.

Our cars
You’ll be provided with a a car allowance of £3,000 per annum.

- Salary: £26,852 per annum
- Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday - 8.30am-5.30pm (Flexibility required)

What we’re looking for?
If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a home visits optical assistant. These include:
- Current or previous optical experience (minimum of 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels
- Must have a full UK driving licence

- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment
- Experience in optics
- Basic knowledge/experience of optical
