Our store   

Specsavers in Milton Keynes is a successful store known for its excellent reputation in staff progression and high standards of customer care. The store features two floors with eight testing rooms and the latest equipment, including two brand new, upgraded OCT machines.

Our Team

You will be joining a team of 6 resident Dispensing Opticians and 2 Trainee Dispensing Opticians, providing you with an abundance of peer support on the shopfloor.

Additionally, the store has 2 partners who are committed to development of their team. This is evidenced by the funded development received by their current in store team and the successes that they have seen from their DO’s completing CLO and OO conversion courses!

Better still, the store already has one of their in-store DO’s signed up to ABDO’s brand new professional certificate in paediatric eyecare!!

Location

Milton Keynes offers excellent accessibility through various public transport routes and provides ample local parking for drivers.

Key transport connections include:

- Just 30 minutes from Luton

- A 30-minute train ride from central London

- Only 16 minutes from Northampton

- A direct rail link from the West Midlands, taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, including connections from Leicester and Birmingham.

What we're looking for? 

• BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing 

• Excellent understanding of optics and audiology journeys 

• Great listening and communication skills 

• Passionate people person 

• Amazing team player
