What You’ll Do
This position is responsible for the delivery of Specsavers People strategies for the Support Office. The HR Business Partner will be an advisor to employees and their managers in Support Office on all pillars of the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include interpretation of policies, advising on employee relations matters, talent and performance management, as well as coaching on HR issues, organizational effectiveness, leadership, performance, and change management. This role requires the ability to build credible and valued relationships through true partnership, to challenge and shape the thinking of our leaders and managers with energy, passion and pragmatism.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Support people leaders by providing coaching and guidance in the areas of performance management, talent management, compensation and change management.
- Talent Management: Partner with the Head of HR & Talent on delivering strategic talent planning activities including organizational design, people review, and succession planning.
- Learning & Development: Partner with the Head of Talent and external facilitators to support with the delivery and occasional co-facilitation of training to our support office employees.
- D&I: Partner with our Global DEI Team on delivering inclusion initiatives in the region.
- Business Partnering: Trusted advisor on all elements of the employee lifecycle to people managers and individual contributors within Support Office.
- Rewards: Collaborating with the Global Rewards team to support the execution of our total rewards strategy and to ensure the successful implementation and communication of total rewards across the business.
- People Projects: Support with design and implementation of people and/or workforce priorities and projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years in in HR, including experience of working in a business partnering type role
- Has personal drive and is able to add positive value
- Demonstrates empathy, is a team-player, and driven by great engagement
- Able to navigate in a matrix organization, dealing with stakeholder management on all levels
- Structured approach and able to focus on the detail
- Strong communication skills
- Has a consultative and proactive mind-set that is used in interactions with the business
Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000base salary, plus quarterly bonus, profit sharing, and benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience
