Salary: $55,000 – $68,000

What You’ll Do

 

Purpose of the role

 

The Administrator (internally called ‘New Store Administrator’) is responsible for establishing third-party direct billing insurance accounts for both Retail and Optometric corporations. The role may also involve supporting additional administrative tasks related to new store openings, as required and based on workload capacity.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Complete detailed online applications for third-party direct billing insurance accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry across all administrative tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with external stakeholders, including insurance providers and regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with store owners (Retail and Optometric Partners) to gather necessary information and provide status updates.
  • Support the administrative setup of new store locations, including insurance, licensing, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all store formation processes.

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Essential

 

  • High Attention to Detail: Proven ability to complete complex online applications with accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident in both written and verbal communication with internal partners and external stakeholders.
  • Data Entry Proficiency: Experience in high-volume data entry with excellent speed and accuracy.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working within a small team and contributing to collective goals.
  • Professionalism: Ability to represent the company in communications with new Partners and third-party insurance providers.
  • Tech Savvy: Competent in using online platforms, forms, and standard business software (e.g. Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook).

 

Nice to have

 

  • Experience in Insurance or Healthcare Administration: Familiarity with third-party billing or insurance application processes.
  • Multitasking in a Deadline-Driven Environment: Experience juggling multiple requests while maintaining quality standards.
