Contact Lens Optician

Whether you’re a Dispensing Optician wanting to take the next step in becoming a Contact lens Optician, a newly certified or have years of experience, you could find your place at Specsavers in Middlebrook as a Contact Lens Optician.  

You’ll work closely with the store and optometry team to deliver excellent customer service and make sure all customers know about the contact lens options we have available. We are looking for 3 days per week on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, however, if you wish to have 4 day working weeks, you can work 1 day in our Bolton store.

Based in Middlebrook, our 4 test room store has free parking.  

Our team 

We have 3 stores in Middlebrook and Bolton, so you will have a great team working closely with you, as well as Contact Lens Optician support staff handling your admin, so you can focus your time in your appointments with your patients.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a Contact Lens Certification or to be an experienced Dispensing Optician wanting to become a Contact Lens Optician and excellent working knowledge of contact lens options, features and benefits. You’ll also need to effectively communicate with people at all levels, be adaptable and open to change, have a world-class customer service approach to everything you do, and be driven and motivated to achieve your own and the business’ targets.
