Specsavers Alcester, voted one of the top 10 Specsavers businesses in the UK, opened its doors in 2019 as a satellite store. Due to its continued growth, it is now looking for a 50% Retail Partner as it spreads its wings as a stand alone and enters this new chapter of growth.

About the store
There’s a long-standing team in place, many being with the store since it first opened and they pride themselves on their excellent customer service and family-feel within the store. There’s a high emphasis on team building within and this results in a welcoming and friendly environment for both team and customers alike.
As the team grows, the remaining Optom Partner is keen to bring a new partner on board who will continue with this team focus, whilst leading from the front and encouraging the retail team to embrace this growth journey. Someone creative, who will bring new ideas to the table and wants to work collaboratively would thrive in this environment.
The store currently has 2 test rooms and a team of 3 Optoms, plus 1 pre-reg. It’s now celebrating a profit increase of almost 50% vs last year.
Locally, there’s little in the way of mainstream competition, with only a few independent opticians nearby offering significantly reduced opening hours in comparison. The demographic is varied, offering a variety of workload.
Travelling to the store is easy by both car and bus, with easy links to Evesham, Worcester and Redditch and free parking nearby. It’s on a high street location within the market town and therefore benefits from the footfall of neighbouring shops and cafes.
